Job description

Job description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexo Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role requires a strong understanding of print processes, color management, and quality control. The Flexo Press Operator plays a vital role in producing vibrant, accurate labels and packaging materials for various clients. We will consider candidates with experience in manufacturing environments such as, CNC machining, die cutting, auto mechanics, and etc... for training opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor flexo printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to specifications.
  • Set up press equipment, including adjusting color registration, ink viscosity, and print parameters.
  • Perform job setups, including plate mounting, ink mixing, die-cutting, and material loading.
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including job tickets, quality checks, and material usage.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the press and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime .
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to manufacturing protocols.
  • Document production details and communicate any issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Able to work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Mon-Thurs)

Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating flexo presses or similar printing machinery within a manufacturing environment.
