Apex Placement & Consulting has partnered with an exciting print manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join their team in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will support high-quality digital print production. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, detail oriented, mechanically inclined and interested in learning commercial print production.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Operate the HP Indigo 120K digital press.
• Review job tickets and verify production requirements.
• Load paper, prepare materials, and support daily press setup.
• Monitor print quality throughout production runs.
• Perform routine press maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with hands-on part replacement and operator-level maintenance.
• Use production software and computer systems to manage jobs and workflow.
• Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or equipment problems to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production records and job documentation.
• Keep the digital press area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work with prepress, bindery, and production teams to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Learn and follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and production processes.
Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on maintenance and part replacement.
