Job Description Lead Web Press Operator Battle Creek, MI Position Overview: A leading commercial printing organization is seeking an experienced Lead Web Pressman to oversee press operations, maintain high-quality standards, and drive daily production. This role is responsible for executing web press projects according to strict job specifications, managing machine setups, and maintaining equipment for optimal output in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities Operate web press equipment, including folders, stackers, and roll stands, according to job tickets and work orders. Coordinate workload schedules with the production team to meet tight customer deadlines and quality targets.

Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on press machinery and update technical logs. Monitor and maintain inventory of essential press supplies and notify supervisors of equipment needs. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, SDS chemical guidelines, and food safety standards (AIB).

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a 40" web press. Strong mechanical aptitudes and mathematical skills for machine setup and troubleshooting. Background in ink mixing and color matching Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience operating Baker-Perkins or Hantscho presses.
