Description

The Digital Marketing & Operations Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team at Kamco, responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies to enhance Kamco's brand image, market visibility, and drive business growth. This role requires a creative, results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a passion for storytelling.


Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Execution & Support

  • Support SEO and paid search (Google Ads) initiatives in coordination with external partners
  • Assist with campaign setup, execution, and ongoing optimization across digital channels
  • Support email marketing efforts including newsletters, promotions, and customer communications
  • Track and summarize marketing performance metrics (traffic, engagement, campaign results) for internal stakeholders


Website Support & Content Updates

  • Support ongoing updates to kamcoboston.com and related marketing pages
  • Coordinate website content updates, form changes, landing page edits, and minor enhancements
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to submit, track, and validate website changes
  • Review updates in test or staging environments and confirm accuracy prior to deployment
  • Help identify and flag website issues related to content, usability, or customer experience


Creative Asset Creation & Content Support

  • Create and update marketing and promotional assets using Canva or related tools (digital signage content, campaign and promotional graphics, website banners and visuals, internal and external presentation materials)
  • Ensure creative assets follow Kamco branding and messaging standards
  • Coordinate with vendors or internal teams for more advanced creative or design needs when required


Vendor & Marketing Operations Coordination

  • Act as the day-to-day contact for digital marketing, website, SEO, and advertising vendors
  • Schedule meetings, track deliverables, and follow up on action items
  • Coordinate timelines and priorities across multiple concurrent marketing and website requests
  • Support light project management activities such as task tracking, communication coordination, and deadline management


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, IT, and Leadership to support marketing and website needs
  • Translate business requests into clear marketing tasks, creative updates, or vendor requests
  • Lead recurring marketing, website, and campaign review meetings
  • Maintain Marketing Calendar
  • Support overall internal Communications

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-10 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or campaign execution roles
  • Experience supporting website content updates and working with external web vendors
  • Experience coordinating work with external agencies or vendors
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and strong follow through
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience with AI tools such as CoPilot to help with content creation, and overall productivity


Preferred

  • Experience supporting SEO and Google Ads initiatives
  • Hands-on experience using Canva for marketing and digital asset creation
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms
  • Experience in B2B, construction, distribution, or building materials industries
  • Project Management experience
