Job description

Marketing Operations Manager

Lakewood, NJ | Hybrid Flexibility
$150,000 โ€“ $180,000 DOE

Overview

A rapidly growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to take ownership of marketing analytics, lead tracking, vendor oversight, and overall marketing operations.

This is not a traditional โ€œbrandingโ€ or social media marketing role. The core focus is understanding where leads are coming from, what marketing efforts are actually working, where money is being wasted, and how to improve ROI across all channels.

The organization already works with outside vendors for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, graphic design, and related services. The goal of this role is to bring oversight, strategy, tracking, accountability, and operational structure to the entire marketing function.

The right candidate will understand marketing deeply enough to manage vendors intelligently, analyze lead flow, improve tracking systems, and eventually help build out an internal marketing team over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track lead flow, lead sources, conversion trends, and marketing performance across channels
  • Analyze ROI and determine where marketing dollars should be increased, reduced, or eliminated
  • Oversee external vendors handling Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, graphic design, and related functions
  • Build stronger reporting, tracking, and attribution systems
  • Identify inefficiencies, overlap, and wasted spend across marketing efforts
  • Manage marketing-related projects, campaigns, referral initiatives, and promotional efforts
  • Coordinate marketing materials, branded merchandise, referral outreach, and related initiatives
  • Help establish structure, accountability, and operational oversight within marketing
  • Eventually assist with building out and managing an internal marketing team as the company grows

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience with marketing analytics, lead tracking, PPC oversight, or marketing operations
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, lead flow, attribution, and ROI analysis
  • Experience overseeing vendors, campaigns, or marketing systems
  • Highly analytical, operationally minded, and data-driven
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Able to think strategically while also handling execution and follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a newly created role
