Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing for the U.S. CARE Marketing Team helps lead and operationalize Chiesi's next generation customer engagement model. This role supports the advancement of how the organization digitally connects with key customer segments across Hospital-Critical Care and Neonatology-bringing to life an insights driven approach to engagement that meets clinicians where they are and how they prefer to learn.

This role will help lead the evolution of digital marketing for CARE, translating Chiesi's commitment to innovation and patient centricity into practical, digitally enabled engagement plans. With a balance of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and hands-on execution, the role partners across Marketing, CX, Omnichannel Enablement, Commercial Excellence, and field-based teams to embed omnichannel capabilities into everyday marketing operations.

Success in this role requires a forward-looking mindset-one that continually scans the horizon for emerging technologies and solutions, as well as new models of engagement. The individual will champion the adoption of advanced digital capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, predictive analytics, dynamic content frameworks, and privacy centric data strategies.

The Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing acts as a driving force for capability building within the CARE organization. By strengthening digital fluency, enabling new ways of working, and fostering a mindset rooted in experimentation and continuous improvement, this role will help shape a digitally fluent organization ready to meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's healthcare environment.

This is an opportunity to drive transformation at pace-evolving cross functional ways of working, accelerating digital maturity, and building a modern omnichannel engine that elevates how Chiesi shows up for customers and delivers on its mission.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Advance CARE Omnichannel Marketing Capability:
    • Lead the shaping and implementation of customer engagement plans that leverage analytics, automation, and customer signals to meaningfully engage HCPs and priority audiences across Hospital-Critical Care and Neonatology.
    • Guide cross functional teams in creating impactful digital experiences built on flexible content architectures, purposeful message pathways, and channel specific creative tailored to how clinicians learn and make decisions.
    • Drive execution of priority digital campaigns across websites, email, programmatic media, paid search, social platforms, and third-party HCP portals-ensuring consistent, high value engagement.
    • Monitor emerging trends at the intersection of healthcare and technology, identifying new tools, commercial models, and digital behaviors that can strengthen Chiesi's engagement strategies.
    • Partner across the organization to evolve systems, workflows, and team mindsets that accelerate adoption of modern omnichannel capabilities.
  • Integrate Digital Strategy into Daily Marketing Operations:
    • Work closely with brand leaders to translate business objectives into precision engagement plans grounded in predictive insights, customer signal intelligence, and privacy centric data practices.
    • Lead development of media budgets, channel allocation strategies, and integrated media plans aligned to brand goals, lifecycle requirements, prioritized HCP segments, and overarching marketing objectives.
    • Collaborate with global and local omnichannel marketing enablement teams to shape digital marketing recommendations informed by CX methodologies, advanced analytics, and the evolving MAP/CRM ecosystem.
    • Drive experimentation frameworks that accelerate learning cycles, improve campaign effectiveness, and fuel continuous optimization across digital tactics.
    • In partnership with Omnichannel Marketing Enablement, lead deployment, refinement, and scaling of next generation marketing platforms-ensuring full utilization of Chiesi's MAP/CRM infrastructure, automated workflows, and orchestration capabilities.
    • Represent CARE in key cross functional forums to ensure alignment of digital priorities, processes, and technology adoption across Marketing, Medical, and field-based teams.
  • Execute with Excellence:
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders and multiple agency partners to ensure delivery of high-quality work on time, on budget, and aligned with brand intent.
    • Navigate internal review processes to achieve timely approval of digital materials, including those generated through modular or AI-enabled workflows.
  • Build and Elevate Digital Marketing Capability:
    • Lead digital marketing capability building across CARE, advancing skills and ways of working in analytics, journey design, automation, experimentation, and content operations.
    • Partner with Brand Leads to drive digital tactics as core drivers of commercial impact rather than supplemental add ons.
    • Promote a mindset rooted in curiosity, iteration, and continuous improvement, enabling confident adoption of emerging technologies and modern marketing approaches.
    • Foster strong collaboration between digital specialists, brand partners, field teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive and coordinated execution.
  • Invest in Personal Growth:
    • Partner with manager to build and execute an individualized development plan that supports evolving leadership and technical capabilities.
    • Engage in relevant learning programs, certifications, and educational opportunities to deepen expertise and stay ahead of emerging digital trends.
You will need to have
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical digital marketing, with hands-on expertise in SFMC, Adobe Experience Manager, and Google Analytics, along with a strong working familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership success in leading, influencing, or transforming digital marketing capabilities or functions-ideally with experience implementing AI/automation programs, digital experimentation frameworks, or scalable modular content ecosystems.
  • Experience contributing to customer experience and digital transformation initiatives, helping teams lead adoption of modern, data-driven, digitally led ways of working.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, cross-functional partners, and aggressive deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
