We are seeking a Digital M&A Director. This role leads digital M&A, integration, and carve-out initiatives, providing strategic advisory, program leadership, and IT due diligence support throughout the transaction lifecycle. They drive execution across complex, cross-functional engagements, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment, governance, risk management, and delivery of successful business outcomes. Through trusted client partnerships and M&A technology expertise, this role helps maximize value realization and deliver a high-quality client experience.

Essential Job Functions

M&A Integration

  • Engage with clients in an advisory capacity to address M&A integration and carve-out program challenges.

  • Lead IT diligence activities, including data room reviews, diligence calls, request lists, and development of integration and separation strategies.

  • Develop diligence reports, transition services recommendations, and other deal-related deliverables.

  • Provide industry expertise and insights, particularly within manufacturing and distribution environments, to support integration and separation planning.

Program Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, including scope, timeline, resource, and budget management.

  • Establish project governance, integrated plans, schedules, resource strategies, and risk management frameworks.

  • Select and apply appropriate project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.

  • Monitor project health, proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.

Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of project managers through coaching, performance management, and professional development.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and governance forums to drive alignment and decision-making.

  • Foster collaboration and accountability across project teams and stakeholder groups.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, leadership teams, vendors, advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Facilitate governance meetings and stakeholder discussions to drive project outcomes.

  • Deliver clear and actionable project communications, status reporting, and executive updates.

Financial Management

  • Maintain accountability for engagement financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and financial tracking.

  • Monitor resource utilization and project economics to ensure delivery against financial targets.

Change Management

  • Partner with business leaders and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and achievement of business objectives.

  • Ensure digital initiatives deliver intended organizational value and outcomes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive improvements to delivery methodologies, tools, standards, and team collaboration practices.

  • Promote consistency, quality, scalability, and operational excellence across engagements.

Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Project Management Institute, Agile, and/or Scrum certification(s) preferred.
