The ideal candidate can translate regional priorities into effective campaign strategies, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and use insights to continuously improve performance.

As a Marketing Campaign Manager, you will:

  • Serve as a regional marketing lead for U.S. Public Sector, representing local market needs and priorities in campaign planning, campaign design and execution.
  • Work collaboratively with global & regional campaign managers, sales stakeholders, channel and partner teams, and cross-functional marketing teams to build integrated campaign plans.
  • Drive the strategy, help develop the plan, and execute marketing campaigns that improve reputation and build demand, inclusive of ABM motions and channel or partner marketing opportunities.
  • Build campaign plans that can be tailored for Public Sector buying committees, industry priorities, customer segments and account-specific needs.
  • Adapt and amplify global demand campaigns for regional relevance across Public Sector audiences, using marketing channels such as web, social, webinars, live events, email and partner motions as appropriate.
  • Communicate campaign strategy, activation plans and performance insights to sales and marketing leadership, including clear connections to business priorities and pipeline impact.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use marketing metrics, discoverability, lead data, pipeline outcomes and ROI indicators to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison across SAS organizations, including product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, marketing sciences, communications, creative, partner marketing and sales.
  • Support additional business priorities, market segments, or strategic growth initiatives as organizational needs evolve.
  • Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. These are our values and influence everything we do.

Required qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in demand generation marketing, marketing operations or related function in technology or other business-to-business industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing or activating integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels and stages of the customer journey.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic working relationships with stakeholders across sales, marketing and leadership teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate campaign strategy and results to executive audiences.
  • Ability to interpret marketing metrics and translate the data into a clear performance story.
  • Strong project management and meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional competencies, knowledge and skills

  • Growth mindset and curiosity: Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies, embrace evolving ways of working, and explore how AI-enabled tools can improve marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer experiences.
  • Collaborating and Customer Orientation: Placing a high priority on the internal or external customer’s perspective when making decisions and taking action; implementing service practices that meet the customers’ and own organization’s needs.
  • Business and stakeholder judgment: Balances global consistency, regional nuance and sales priorities in a complex Public Sector environment.
  • Analytical curiosity: Uses data to understand what is working, diagnose issues and improve future campaign performance.
  • Demonstrated experience planning or activating campaigns for targeted accounts, partner ecosystems, channel motions or segment-specific audiences.
