About the Role
Talarico for Texas is building a movement to take back power for working people. We are seeking a full-time Digital Engagement Coordinator to join our communications team and be responsible for amplifying the campaign's messaging priorities on social media. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate high levels of engagement with the campaign's messaging across new media platforms.
  • Translate messaging guidance from senior leadership into strong digital amplification plans on tight deadlines.
  • Coordinate closely across departments to execute strategy across digital platforms, ensure message consistency, and manage relationships with external partners.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in political communications, social media management, journalism or another relevant field.
  • Deep social media expertise and strong instincts for what content travels online and why.
  • Existing network of political surrogates and strong networking skills.
  • Proven experience producing quality deliverables under tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Strong written communication skills in concise, shareable formats.
