Job description

Location
This position is 100% in-office and reports to our facility on site in Syracuse, NY.
Job Summary
In this role, you will contribute to our digital marketing growth through content development including social media, e-mail, blog, web marketing and on occasion sales collateral. Proficiency in the creation of social media graphics and copy, as well as digital media design are a must.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Responsibilities
  • Create strong and engaging organic and paid social media content (images, video and text) using software such as (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, etc) for corporate social media channels on major platforms such as but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Design digital graphics and copy for corporate websites
  • Design content for corporate presentations and sales collateral
  • Support employer growth strategies by assisting the recruiting teams through development of creative content that supports established social media strategies
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop strategies that meet company goals
  • Assist with live social media coverage during events
  • Build out, design, edit (images, video and text) and execute e-mail marketing campaigns and communicate in a clear, credible and concise manner
  • Author, edit, and layout (including copy, imagery, links, etc) blog posts utilizing SEO keywords and modern blog formatting
  • Maximize traffic by utilizing SEO keywords within each company page or social media platform
  • Monitor responses to posts via website, social media, or other platforms, as assigned, to better understand the audience and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales
  • Manage, track and report on success of social media campaigns, as assigned, (organic and paid) to update internal staff on digital marketing usage statistics and metrics
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, industry trends and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Work with internal departments to research and develop key issue communications
  • Assist the Marketing Department with other projects as needed

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Four (4)+ years of experience in digital creative design for social media and e-mail marketing for brands or businesses
  • Experience in applying good photographic techniques
  • Knowledgeable in designing and formatting files for digital and offset printing
  • Experience working with Hootsuite Enterprise
  • Experience creating direct e-mail campaigns
  • Experience writing corporate blog posts
  • Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry and security licensing requirements

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in an office environment. Employee may be subject to some lifting up to 10lbs.
