Digital Banking Specialist

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Digital Banking Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you'll help shape the digital experience for our customers by supporting the daily operations of our online and mobile banking platforms. From ensuring secure and seamless system performance to assisting internal teams and customers with digital banking needs, you'll play an important part in delivering exceptional service and driving continuous improvement. Essential Functions Include:

  • Assists with processing various customer ACH transactions.
  • Assists with the approving of pending account additions to customers' online banking profiles.
  • Approves online banking applications after appropriate training.
  • Responds and fulfills customers' messages in online banking. Resolves customer questions/issues and unlocks customers' online banking profiles as needed.
  • Responds and fulfills internal customers messages in Help Desk
  • Assists with uncomplicated Online Banking bill pay issues for customers.
  • Enters wires into ISO 20022 Wires (domestic after appropriate training.)
  • Proves ISO 20022 Wires at end of day coordinating balancing with the Finance Department.
  • Enters wires into M & T Treasury Center and Corpay for international transmission after appropriate training. Pull daily wire detail report from M&T for incoming wires.
  • Accountable for assigned reports; of which the following are illustrative, Unusual log in report, Pending Token, Sub-User Admin and Service Fee Exception, CheckFree's Mailbox & Client Connect-Daily NSF, Payments Over 4000, Admin Mods, Positive Pay daily reports, Downloading all reports from online banking, Other reports as they come
  • Accountable for the balancing of assigned GL Accounts, including but not limited to: Bill Pay Suspense, Non-Fed, ACH Returns and Corrections
  • Processes ACH returns, NOC's and Invalid Prenotes
  • Processes and reviews External Transfers and work daily reports.
  • Processes service requests within nCino – new opportunities, temporary and permanent change request and set-ups
  • Assists and performs job duties as new products and processes are added.
  • Identifies and responds to opportunities to communicate affiliates and Bank products and services to promote to potential customers and refer those customers to the proper personnel.
  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, SAFE Act, etc.; ensures that the office and all personnel adhere to the same.

Location: Commerce Street Branch - 109 N. Commerce Street, Centreville, MD 21617

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Full-time.
  • Non-exempt.
  • Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30/5PM.
  • Rotating on-call weekends approximately once every 7 weeks. On-call duties involve brief, scheduled check-ins from home at scheduled times (Saturday at 11:45 AM & 5:00 PM, Sunday at 2:30 PM).

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • 1 year experience successfully providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $26.50 hourly.
  • Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
