Job Description
The Project Manager role will support Credit Risk Management in the delivery of technology for the Bank's Credit Risk platform and reporting.
โ€ข Ability to manage, influence and engage senior (Managing Directors and Directors) stakeholders from the Business, Risk and Infrastructure Functions
โ€ข Ability to interpret new regulations and partner with business to drive requirements identification
โ€ข Lead strategic IT articulation & decision making around IT architecture and data models to address implementation requirements
โ€ข End to end management of infrastructure delivery, working closely with Business and Risk counterparts to support any required new business process
โ€ข Coordinate across global platforms for Market Risk Management to ensure that required changes are planned and implemented
โ€ข Day to day program management to ensure delivery requirements are met
โ€ข Planning of implementation roadmap, including articulating development estimates
โ€ข Working with Application Services to maintain both momentum and client interaction through the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
โ€ข Face off to Production Support personnel around issues, risks, production problems, product direction and complexity and build their understanding of requirements to help production scale support team appropriately
โ€ข Financial Management understanding and tracking to ensure program remains on budget
โ€ข Organisation around administration for weekly reports & tracking overall progress of the program
โ€ข Ensure dependencies from other functions are identified and managed appropriately to ensure seamless delivery
Qualifications
โ€ข Preferred: Educated to degree level
โ€ข Preferred: PMP/PgMPSM or equivalent accreditation
โ€ข Preferred: Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
โ€ข Experience in delivering new or changed IT infrastructure for large, complex, multi-business/multi-functional programs
โ€ข Full understanding of the SDLC
โ€ข Proficient Stakeholder / Sponsor management
โ€ข Good oral and written communication skills
โ€ข Motivated to 'get the job done'
โ€ข Structured in approach and well organised
โ€ข Ability/experience in negotiation of external technology vendor contracts
โ€ข 5 years+ managing projects/programs
โ€ข 3 years+ managing complex programs
โ€ข 5 years+ within the IT Industry, preferably in Investment Banking IT
โ€ข Managed / worked with offshore based development teams
โ€ข Experience in matrix management & influencing others
โ€ข Experience in Credit Risk IT, Equities, Fixed Income
โ€ข Proven experience working in an Investment Bank
