Job Description
The Project Manager role will support Credit Risk Management in the delivery of technology for the Bank's Credit Risk platform and reporting.
โข Ability to manage, influence and engage senior (Managing Directors and Directors) stakeholders from the Business, Risk and Infrastructure Functions
โข Ability to interpret new regulations and partner with business to drive requirements identification
โข Lead strategic IT articulation & decision making around IT architecture and data models to address implementation requirements
โข End to end management of infrastructure delivery, working closely with Business and Risk counterparts to support any required new business process
โข Coordinate across global platforms for Market Risk Management to ensure that required changes are planned and implemented
โข Day to day program management to ensure delivery requirements are met
โข Planning of implementation roadmap, including articulating development estimates
โข Working with Application Services to maintain both momentum and client interaction through the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
โข Face off to Production Support personnel around issues, risks, production problems, product direction and complexity and build their understanding of requirements to help production scale support team appropriately
โข Financial Management understanding and tracking to ensure program remains on budget
โข Organisation around administration for weekly reports & tracking overall progress of the program
โข Ensure dependencies from other functions are identified and managed appropriately to ensure seamless delivery
Qualifications
โข Preferred: Educated to degree level
โข Preferred: PMP/PgMPSM or equivalent accreditation
โข Preferred: Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
โข Experience in delivering new or changed IT infrastructure for large, complex, multi-business/multi-functional programs
โข Full understanding of the SDLC
โข Proficient Stakeholder / Sponsor management
โข Good oral and written communication skills
โข Motivated to 'get the job done'
โข Structured in approach and well organised
โข Ability/experience in negotiation of external technology vendor contracts
โข 5 years+ managing projects/programs
โข 3 years+ managing complex programs
โข 5 years+ within the IT Industry, preferably in Investment Banking IT
โข Managed / worked with offshore based development teams
โข Experience in matrix management & influencing others
โข Experience in Credit Risk IT, Equities, Fixed Income
โข Proven experience working in an Investment Bank
