Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Project Management Professional to support the KPMG Project Management (PM) Team.

The candidate is expected to:

  • Handle day-to-day operational tasks; such as, assisting with the weekly project management office (PMO) joint meeting, the weekly project status meeting, and other meetings as needed. This includes preparing an agenda, developing reports, setting up prior to meeting starting, taking notes, and reporting out key decisions and takeaways to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the functional module Discovery Sessions, asking probing questions, encouraging all stakeholders to participate, capturing key decisions and takeaways, and ensuring the Sessions stay on Schedule.
  • Consolidate operational metrics, compare system performance against expected Deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs), and develop report for submission to FDC.
  • Review, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on drafted Deliverables (e.g., Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)) to ensure proper formatting and that they meet the quality standards, operational requirements, and project goals of the Project and Deliverable Expectation Documents.
  • Actively participate in recurring client discussions which include ongoing planning, release management, and post-production support meetings.
  • Support additional project management tasks and administrative initiatives as the system matures through its Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Assist the KPMG training team with reviewing and developing training and change impact Deliverables and Work Products.
  • Proactively identify and recognize client needs, acting as a trusted operational partner who is always ready to deliver value.
  • Engage in strategic discussions and continuous improvement reviews with team members and leadership to elevate the client experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

Education –

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience –

  • 5+ years of dedicated project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT system implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, custom enterprise solutions).

Certifications –

  • Project Management Professional (PMP).

Technical Proficiency –

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and software architecture. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).

Soft Skills –

  • Excellent communication, written and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors while maintaining a strong client-focus.

Preferred

Correctional Business Process Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with or prior experience working within the Correctional or public safety domain.
