Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead the development of a comprehensive project governance framework and a detailed project plan for key strategic initiatives including Wellness and Claim Strategy (70% / 30% allocation respectively) within the Long-Term Care organization.
  • This role requires a structured thinker with a strong background in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, governance best practices as well as business operations experience.
  • The consultant will work closely with executive sponsors, project leads, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to define governance structures, decision-making processes, reporting mechanisms, and risk management protocols.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for creating a robust, actionable project plan that includes timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ย Design and implement a tailored project governance framework aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop a detailed, end-to-end project plan including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning.
  • ย Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths within the governance model.
  • ย Establish reporting structures, KPIs, and communication plans.
  • ย Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • ย  Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution and governance adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management consulting, preferably in complex, cross-functional and cross-organizational environments.
  • ย Strong knowledge of project governance principles and frameworks.
  • ย Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • ย Proficiency in project planning.
  • ย PMP, or similar certification preferred.
  • Business operations experience.
  • ย Strong Jira and Agile experience
