Job Description:

Metas Solutions has an opening for an experienced Portfolio Governance Project Manager located in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Governance Manager, you will support the preparation of all documents and artifacts required under the agency's governance framework. You will also provide project management support to program areas, as directed by the Client, to facilitate oversight, collaboration, information sharing, and the effective implementation of products and services throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities may include process mapping and diagramming, testing and documenting results, preparing status reports and summaries, and identifying and documenting issues, risks, and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support aligned with the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC).
  • Develop management plans, work breakdown structures, and integrated master schedules.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support lifecycle processes including analysis, testing, and reporting.
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure systems meet business needs.
  • Maintain certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.
  • Apply frameworks such as SAFe and Six Sigma to streamline project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving agile teams and providing tasking and prioritization for public health or life sciences markets.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT portfolio governance, program management, or project management
  • Experience with risk management practices, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation
  • Familiarity with portfolio management software or project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, PMI, etc.)
  • Possession of strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with agile methodologies and managing IT portfolios using agile frameworks
  • Experience with financial management for IT portfolios, including cost-benefit analysis and budgeting

  • Must be US Citizen and with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period
