Job Overview

The DHS Implementation Service Specialist implements Getinge Digital Health Solutions (DHS) products for Getinge customers. The position is trained to assist with implementation of T-DOC.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Under the guidance of the Project Manager, participate in onsite and remote DHS projects. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Preparing for and configuration of a system setup.
    • Installation of T-DOC server software
    • Configuration of T-DOC SQL database
    • Working with OR, SPD, IT, and other departments as needed in a professional manner.
  • Provide excellent technical support either onsite or via remote services, as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality system processes, protocols, and SOPs.
  • Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and colleagues, conducting themselves in a professional and responsible manner at all times.
  • Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities through effective use of product information and technical data provided by the company and others.
  • Participate in training seminars, meetings, and on-the-job training programs.  Demonstrate a deep and thorough understanding, and an ability to apply concepts and knowledge obtained from these training and skill development sources.
  • Enhance company's image by participating in regional and national trade shows when required.
  • Comply with all company policies and perform other related responsibilities and assignments as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. Information Systems, or Information Technology / Electronics related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years technical IT experience implementing and troubleshooting hardware/software installations. SaaS experience a plus.
  • 3 years Microsoft Server management experience.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server and SQL scripting
  • Experience in Sterile Processing Department using instrument tracking software a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of client-server technologies and computer networking.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records systems (HL7) a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Motivated and able to work without supervision within project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and maintain strong client relationship skills. Focused on finding a solution with a "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent customer training and/or support experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT, medical technology, and/or sterile processing workflow procedures.

Internal and External Contacts/Relationships

  • Management.
  • Field sales, Project Managers, and internal departments.
  • Hospital and university personnel, and other external customers.
  • Getinge external vendors and suppliers.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

  • Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions.
  • Must travel on average 50% (but up to 75% as needed) annually by car or aircraft to customer sites throughout the United States and Canada (must have current Passport). Periodic international travel will be required for training purposes.
  • Must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver's licensed required).
  • Must occasionally utilize hand tools to install, connect and test modules, connectivity modules and/or test instrumentation to monitor equipment function.
  • Must be able to respond to inquiries and communicate with others by computer, via network and via telephone.
  • Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technical manuals, and written correspondence.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Extensive time on computer.  4+ hours per day.

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm

$30.00-$35.00/hour - depending on location and experience
