Job description

Job Description

A growing multi-site organization is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead employee training and development across its field operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and develop Regional Trainers supporting multiple markets

  • Lead company-wide onboarding, training, and certification initiatives

  • Improve training programs based on operational needs and employee performance

  • Work directly with field leadership to identify skill and performance gaps

  • Visit locations regularly to evaluate training execution and provide coaching

  • Support expansion, new-location openings, and operational initiatives

  • Monitor training metrics, employee development, certification progress, and onboarding effectiveness

  • Build scalable programs that support internal advancement, engagement, and retention

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of learning & development, training, employee development, or operational leadership experience

  • Proven experience leading and developing people

  • Experience supporting employees across multiple locations, markets, or regions

  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel

  • Valid driver’s license

What Makes This Role Attractive

  • Reports directly to the COO

  • Broad ownership of Learning & Development across the organization

  • Direct leadership of Regional Trainers

  • High level of exposure to operational and executive leadership

  • Ability to build and improve programs rather than simply administer training

  • Significant influence over employee development, performance, and retention

  • Combination of strategy, people leadership, and field execution
