This is a hands-on leadership role partnering with Business Leads across Media Rights, Sponsorships, Membership, Events, and Digital revenue streams to forecast business trajectory, formulate budgets, and shape the company’s long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous and comfortable conducting primary research, building sophisticated data and analytics frameworks, constructing complex business and P&L models, and leading end-to-end business model creation across new and existing ventures.

What You’ll Do

Financial Planning & Modeling

  • Build and maintain bottoms-up budgets, rolling cash flow forecasts, and long-range financial models across all PBA revenue streams (Media Rights, Sponsorships, Membership, Events, and Digital)
  • Develop comprehensive P&L models for each business line, tracking revenue, cost of goods, operating expenses, and contribution margins to enable granular performance management
  • Lead end-to-end business model creation for new initiatives, including unit economics, go-to-market assumptions, capital requirements, and return projections
  • Conduct scenario analysis and financial modeling to support commercial and strategic decision-making, including pricing, event economics, and contract negotiations
  • Partner with Business Leads and act as an operational finance team to forecast business trajectory and to formulate budgetary needs and long-term strategic plans

Research, Data & Analytics

  • Lead primary and secondary research efforts to support strategic planning, market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and investment thesis development
  • Build and own a data and analytics infrastructure, including KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and financial reporting for the Executive Team and Board of Directors
  • Design and maintain analytics models that translate operational data into actionable financial and strategic insights
  • Synthesize complex datasets across revenue streams into clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations
  • Perform ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative analysis into questions raised by leadership to inform decision-making

Business Strategy & Leadership

  • Evaluate new business initiatives and corporate development opportunities in collaboration with senior management, including full business model creation from concept through financial validation
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team as a trusted financial partner, translating financial data into clear narratives that drive decision-making across the organization
  • Create executive-level finance, strategy, data & analytics presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities proactively

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field with a strong GPA
  • 3–6 years of corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or strategy experience, ideally within sports, entertainment, media, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated experience conducting research and building data & analytics frameworks, P&L models, and new business models from the ground up
  • Strong understanding of financial statement and cash flow analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter with demonstrable analytic aptitude, problem-solving skills, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to build relationships, manage multiple responsibilities at once, and work well with others in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and AI tools preferred (e.g., Claude)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
