To thrive as a Development Finance Manager, you need strong financial analysis, budgeting, and project management skills, typically supported by a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Proficiency with financial modeling software, ERP systems, and relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA are commonly required. Many high-paying jobs without a degree involve sales, entrepreneurship, or specialized trades, but they often require skills, certifications, or significant experience.
