Your Role as Home Manager

As a Home Manager, you will lead the daily operations of a residential care home, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching to direct care staff
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance
  • Ensure person-centered care and protection of resident rights
  • Coordinate with clinicians, licensing representatives, and guardians
  • Monitor and oversee medication administration and documentation accuracy
  • Manage staff performance, training, and personnel records
  • Maintain home budgets and financial accountability
  • Act as a communication bridge between administration, staff, families, and community partners
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide direct care support as needed

✅ What We’re Looking For

Education amp; Experience:

  • College degree and/or relevant experience required

Leadership Experience:

  • Prior supervisory experience in healthcare, residential, or social services

Direct Care Background:

  • Minimum of 2 years working in a direct care setting

Requirements:

  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active, hands-on duties
