Job description

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a DevOps Developer to support Kadiak and our government customer in Vienna, VA. This position requires an active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI Poly. This opportunity is offering a hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 days telework).

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cloud platforms, automation tools, and infrastructure as code, with a passion for problem-solving and delivering efficient solutions
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud solutions while driving continuous integration and delivery processes
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps architectures, processes, and best practices
  • Support of the enterprise IT platform, which includes secure cloud-hosted and on-premises environments
  • Work with system architects and developers to maintain and improve the architecture and design of the infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions
  • Focus on creating and maintaining containers as well as enabling container deployments and implementations of serverless architectures within AWS
  • Ability to manage CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • 3+ years related experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with AWS (e.g., CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch)
  • Experience with both coding and scripting.
  • Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Current automation/orchestration tool suite experience.
  • Experience in continuous integration technology (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub)
  • Experience with Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines while having and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • Ability to work on-site in Vienna, VA (4 days per week + 1 day remote)
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
