The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer, Senior, to support logistics operations across the Indo-Pacific. The .NET Software Developer, Senior serves as CACI's senior software development professional responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and sustaining enterprise software applications that support logistics, mission support, operational planning, and business operations. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position provides technical leadership in developing secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions that enhance mission execution and operational effectiveness.
The .NET Software Developer, Senior works closely with Government stakeholders, software engineers, system architects, database administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and mission partners to develop modern applications, automate business processes, and integrate enterprise systems. This position supports the full software development lifecycle and ensures that applications meet customer requirements, security standards, and operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise .NET software applications supporting Government operations.
  • Develop web-based, desktop, and API-driven applications using modern .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine software requirements.
  • Integrate applications with enterprise databases, cloud services, and third-party systems.
  • Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions following industry best practices.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, and demonstrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, software design specifications, and user guides.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure applications comply with Government security requirements.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through continuous improvement.
  • Support software deployments, upgrades, configuration management, and version control.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote software engineering best practices.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies that improve application capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Support system integration, user acceptance testing, and operational transition activities.
  • Foster continuous improvement through automation, innovation, and software modernization initiatives.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum 15 years of experience supporting software development, application engineering, or enterprise systems development for Government or Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and modern software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and brief senior Government and program leadership on technical solutions and application capabilities.

Desired
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework/.NET, Blazor, Entity Framework, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, Azure DevOps, Git, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience supporting Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native application development, and enterprise system integration.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Security+, Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), or equivalent software development certifications are preferred.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
