Job description

Company Description:

GUILD GC, Inc is a vertically integrated construction and development company with a focus on building urban-infill multifamily projects across the westside of Los Angeles. With a pipeline of projects to build, we are looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join the team in the construction of a mixed-use building located in West Hollywood. We seek a professional, self-motivated and team-oriented individual to assist us with our expanding workload.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to be part of a thriving, integrated real estate development company. Some highlights to consider;

· Salary: Based on experience but in the range of $75,000 to $90,000

JOB DUTIES

Project Coordination:

· Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in daily project operation

· Coordinate between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals

· Track RFI’s (Request for Information) and ensure timely responses

· Support the preparation, distribution and management of submittals and shop drawings

Documentation & Reporting:

· Maintain/update project documentation including drawings, specs, logs and correspondence

· Record meeting minutes for owner, subcontractor and coordination meetings

· Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and look-ahead plans

· Monitor daily reports and jobsite logs; verify progress and note any delays and issues

Cost & Budget Management:

· Assist in the review of subcontractor invoices, change orders and pay applications

· Help track committed costs against project budgets

· Support procurement and purchasing activities

· Maintain logs for potential change orders (PCO’s), RFI’s and contract revisions

Quality Control & Compliance:

· Support inspections and testing per project specifications and regulatory requirements

· Ensure that materials and installations comply with contract documents

· Assist in developing punch lists and coordinating project close-out

· Help manager safety compliance documentation and reporting

Communication & Collaboration:

· Act as liaison between project team members, architects, engineers and clients

· Attend project meetings and prepare follow-up communications

· Assist with client updates and status reports

Technology & Tools:

· Use program management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc)

· Assist with digital plan markups, document uploads and coordination models

· Perform quantity takeoffs or support estimating teams as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess:

· At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction industry

· Undergraduate degree in Construction Management – Civil Engineering…a plus

· Experience managing Procore

· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and MS Project

· Must possess valid/active driver’s license

· Bonus: experience building in the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood
