Job description

Manager, Product Management - Ventures Lending (Business Cards & Payments)
Manager, Product Management (PXDP50)
Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) | Build the Future.
At BC&P, we bring a builder's mindset to work, just like the business owners we serve. Small businesses are a different kind of customer. They're the people turning ideas into opportunities, and opportunities into livelihoods. When we build for them, we build something bigger. That's why we have a high bar for quality. We own the work end to end, turning today's insights into tomorrow's results, together.
  • We're relentlessly curious.
  • We ask the hard questions.
  • We make space for the best ideas to win.

Because that's how we create impact we can be proud of.
In BC&P, we are looking for a Product Manager with a demonstrated interest and aptitude for Al. While formal on-the-job experience with Al is a plus, we highly value candidates who have proactively incorporated Al into their personal projects, explored Al-driven development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), or built automations using Al agents. Show us how you've used Al to learn, build, and solve problems beyond basic text generation.

As a Manager of Product Management for Ventures Lending, you will lead the strategy and implementation for product setup, partnerships, and customer support. You will be responsible for navigating complex problem solving across multiple lines of business to drive technical partnership and support strategies.
Responsibilities:
  • Destination Research & Strategy: Drive long-term technical improvements, create PRDs for destination builds, test and learn into using Alternative Data (ADS) (e.g., Finicity, SBFE) to underwrite customers, and refine the roadmap for long-term scaling.
  • Product Setup & Implementation: Work with operations and tech teams to implement intent across various enterprise platforms, ensuring the core product meets our requirements.
  • Partnership Strategy: Lead the product POV for network and community/CDFI partnerships, including referral logic, data sharing agreements, and prioritizing improvements based on partner feedback.
  • Support & Servicing: Develop and scale strategy for financial health, resources and support tools, servicing, and loss mitigation, ensuring alignment between COF and partner support models.
  • Operational Excellence: Define and monitor product KPIs, manage E2E testing strategies, and ensure the product remains well-managed regarding risk.

  • Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions

  • Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value
  • Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks
  • Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
