Job description

Role Summary

Anthropologie Home is seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to join the Home Design Operations team. This role provides critical operational and administrative support, facilitating the execution of the creative vision through all development stages. The ideal candidate has a passion for process, expert organizational skills, and a deep appreciation for the Anthropologie brand. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to producing thoughtful, detail-driven, and self-directed work.

Role Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management: Oversee internal design calendars for the Print/Pattern and Furniture/Decor design teams. Partner with the Director of Design Operations and design leadership to ensure smooth workflows. Assist the Director of Design Operations in monitoring key milestones, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support teams in meeting deadlines. Attend weekly cross functional meetings to provide detailed notes and present required materials (e.g., tech packs, color/material standards).
  • Tradestone Management: Assist the Furniture/Decor team with tech pack submissions in Tradestone, ensuring all data is accurate and timely. Create and maintain style numbers; support designers with Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Budget Management: Partner with the Print/Pattern and Furniture/Decor design teams to track monthly spending, ensuring budget adherence and effective resource utilization.
  • Onboarding & Tech: Assist the Director of Design Operations in developing and implementing onboarding tools for new hires. Manage the team's hardware/software needs and provide training for new system tools.
  • Administrative & Process Support: Perform administrative tasks to support the Print/Pattern and Furniture/Decor teams. Assist the Director of Design Operations in developing operational processes for the Print/Pattern team. Partner daily with the Print/Pattern team to manage workload prioritization and deadlines.
  • Workload & Sample Management: Maintain seasonal development trackers and assortment skylines. Support Line Review setups by owning and updating skylines with sample ETAs, managing physical samples, and assisting with the creation of mock-ups.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Manage outgoing shipments for the Print/Pattern and Furniture/Decor Design and Product Development (PD) teams. Maintain logs of outgoing tracking numbers and provide regular updates to the PD team.
Role Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree; a focus on Industrial Design, Textile Design, Product Design, or Project Management is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience in design operations or project coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Excel. A proactive interest in leveraging emerging AI tools for productivity. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required.
  • Systems: Experience with Tradestone (or similar PLM software) is highly preferred.
  • Organization: Exceptionally organized with extreme attention to detail and a proven ability to anticipate shifts in priority.
  • Industry Savvy: A curiosity regarding global design trends and a foundational understanding of home product construction.
  • Mindset: A strong desire to learn the retail business and design process within a high-energy, collaborative environment.
