Summary

This role focuses on overseeing and managing residential and commercial design project installations , ensuring they meet the highest standards and are executed efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of project installations, optimization of operations, and alignment between various teams, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directly manage and oversee the installation process for residential and commercial spaces , ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for liaising between internal departments and clients during installations, managing to project plan timing and budget
  • Work primarily in the field (NYC metro area), reviewing projects as they prepare for installation and approving them before final execution.
  • Flag missing items ahead of installation and generate quick alternatives to ensure continuity in the installation process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Warehouse and Installation teams
  • Conduct walk-throughs after design approvals to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Director of Design and Senior Director of Projects to document key aspects of operations, ensuring clarity and consistency across processes.
  • Generation of best practices documentation and guides and the creation of standardized procedures (SOP) for design and installation operations, including styling, re-staging, and team coordination.
  • Set and manage installation timelines


Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years Design Project Management experience (or similar)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
