Role:

We are seeking a passionateDesign Coordinatorto join our design team, reporting to the Director of Design & Technical Servicesbased in our Miami Corporate Office. This role plays a critical part in supporting the development and design process, ensuring the seamless implementation of Aman's standards and brand objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to superior design strategies and technical solutions, helping translate design intent into exceptional built outcomes that reflect Aman's commitment to excellence, refinement, and timeless design.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend project coordination workshops, ensure adherence to brand standards, and assist design and engineering consultant teams to develop the approved project design through to the working drawings

  • Assist in reviewing design consultant submitted drawings and specifications

  • Develop and track project schedules

  • Assist in following up on post site visit action items

  • Accurately communicate projects status.

  • Update the Director of Design & Technical Services on a regular basis and provide projections for all design aspects and program delivery

  • Collaborate with team members, corporate teams, and external project teams to manage information flows and data exchange.

  • Track project and Aman Standards schedules, lists & briefs, ensuring archiving of all digital communications and documents.

  • Produce meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in design or architecture is required
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architect or interior designer, design coordinator or in a related role
  • Familiarity with luxury hotel, residences and resort project delivery. Design & Technical Services background with luxury hotel operator preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity and interest in office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of Bluebeam Revu is desirable. Tech savvy and up to date with the latest office applications
