Job description

Position: Deployment Lead

As the volume and complexity of Apple device deployments continue to grow, the need for a dedicated Deployment Lead has become essential to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all projects. This hands‑on role serves as the primary resource on the production floor, providing day‑to‑day guidance, coordinating workflow, and supporting the deployment team throughout the imaging, configuration, and preparation of Apple devices for client delivery.

The Deployment Lead works closely with the Deployment Operations Manager to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with client specifications. This position focuses on leading by example, maintaining quality standards, resolving production issues, and helping the team achieve daily production goals. While this role provides direction and support to team members, it is not responsible for formal performance management or disciplinary actions.

By maintaining organized workflows, promoting accountability, and driving continuous improvement, the Deployment Lead helps reduce errors, improve productivity, and ensure Diamond Assets consistently delivers an exceptional client experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead resource for Apple device deployment projects by coordinating daily production activities and supporting team success.
  • Perform and assist with the imaging, configuration, testing, labeling, and packaging of Apple devices, including MacBooks and iPads.
  • Coordinate daily workflow by prioritizing work, balancing workloads, and providing direction to team members to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor deployment progress and communicate priorities or obstacles to the appropriate departments.
  • Verify device configurations, asset tagging, labeling, and documentation to ensure all client requirements and quality standards are met.
  • Assist in troubleshooting deployment issues and work with IT, Project Management, or Logistics to resolve technical or operational challenges.
  • Assist with inventory control by maintaining accurate tracking of devices, accessories, and deployment materials within the production area.
  • Train and coach new team members on deployment procedures, best practices, quality expectations, and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data security requirements, and client-specific deployment procedures.
  • Provide updates on project progress, production status, and potential concerns to management.
  • Lead by example by maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating strong work ethic, and promoting teamwork and accountability across the deployment team.
  • Serve as a point of contact on the production floor for deployment-related questions and day‑to‑day operational support.
