En tant que specialiste du deploiement, vous fournirez des services professionnels sur site et a distance aux clients et partenaires de Genetec, notamment dans le cadre de la validation de concept, de la mise en place, du deploiement et de la mise en service des systemes, ainsi que des audits et des evaluations de systemes. Vous assurerez egalement la liaison entre Genetec et ses clients, et releverez directement du responsable des services de conception et de deploiement pour l'Amerique du Nord. La mission de l'equipe des services professionnels est d'aider les clients a reussir et a maximiser la valeur de leur investissement tout en attenuant les risques, en apportant un soutien a la conception, au deploiement, a la maintenance et a l'utilisation du portefeuille de solutions de Genetec.

Vous serez charge de conseiller, d'installer, de maintenir et d'assurer le support des differentes solutions Genetec a distance et sur site pour les clients de Genetec situes en Amerique du Nord, ainsi que de gerer certains des projets auxquels vous participez.

  • Realiser l'installation, l'audit, l'evaluation, la maintenance et l'assistance des systemes Genetec sur les sites des clients
  • Servir de principal interlocuteur technique, sur site et a distance, pour les projets cles aupres des partenaires de Genetec

Votre expertise technique :

  • Deploiement et depannage de systemes de securite tels que : les systemes de videosurveillance (VMS, cameras IP et encodeurs, analyse de donnees, etc.) et les systemes de controle d'acces (configuration logicielle, lecteurs, controleurs, cablage, etc.)
  • Excellentes connaissances en administration et en depannage des differents systemes d'exploitation Windows (Active Directory, SQL, partage de fichiers, IIS, mise en cluster, GPO, surveillance des performances, etc.)
  • Excellente connaissance des principes de mise en reseau et des protocoles IP
  • Experience dans la configuration et le depannage d'equipements reseau (commutateurs, routeurs, etc.)
  • Comprehension des principes et des meilleures pratiques en matiere de stockage reseau (SAN, NAS, iSCSI)
  • Competences en matiere de requetes et de gestion de bases de donnees
  • Comprehension des concepts de virtualisation des serveurs
  • Experience en matiere de chiffrement et de certificats
  • Une experience avec PowerShell est un atout

Your team's dynamic:

As Deployment Specialist, you will provide on-site and off-site professional services to Genetec customers and Partners, including proof-of-concept, staging, system deployment and commissioning, audits, system assessments and will act as a general liaison between Genetec and its customers, reporting directly to the Design & Deployment Services Manager, North America. The mission of the Professional Services team is to help customers achieve success and maximize value in their investment while mitigating risks, by supporting the design, deployment, maintenance, and utilization of Genetec's solution portfolio.  

You will be responsible for advising, installing, maintaining, and supporting the various Genetec solutions remotely and on-site for Genetec clients located in North America, as well as managing some of the projects where you are involved.

Your day at a glance:

  • Perform installation, audit, assessment, maintenance, and support of Genetec systems at client sites 
  • Act as a primary on-site and remote technical point of contact for key projects to Genetec's partners 
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with new and existing customers 
  • Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's solutions 
  • Properly document all activities and anomalies encountered in the Genetec Systems 
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical customer related issues through proper channels 
  • Provided functional requirements based on customer feedback to facilitate product Improvement 
  • Provide an open forum for questions regarding strategic plans, best practices, and advice on upgrades, special concerns, and ad hoc consulting for software implementation, integration, training, and change requests 
  • Document on-site or remote service interventions

  • Deployment and troubleshooting of security systems such as: Video Surveillance Systems (VMS, IP cameras and encoders, analytics, etc.) and Access Control Systems (Software configuration, readers, controllers, wiring, etc.) 
  • Excellent administration and troubleshooting knowledge of the various Windows operating systems (Active Directory, SQL, file sharing, IIS, clustering, GPO, performance monitoring, etc.) 
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP protocols. 
  • Experience with networking equipment configuration and troubleshooting (switches, routers, etc.). 
  • Understanding of network storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) principles and best practices 
  • Database query and management skills  
  • Understanding of server virtualization concepts 
  • Experience with encryption and certificates 
  • Experience with PowerShell is an asset
