Job Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (Layer 2/3 switching, routing, and related systems)
  • Support the design and implementation of campus and wide-area network environments
  • Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize reliability and efficiency
  • Evaluate and implement network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
  • Ensure adherence to internal standards for configuration, security, and change management
  • Research and recommend new technologies to enhance network performance and scalability
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving network and communication issues in partnership with support teams
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Support fiber infrastructure and coordinate with third-party vendors on network-related projects
  • Generate network performance reports and provide insights as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of hands-on network engineering or administration experience
  • Strong understanding of core networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP
  • Experience with network security concepts such as ACLs, 802.1x, RADIUS, and access control frameworks
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools, traffic analysis (e.g., sFlow), and wireless technologies (802.11)
  • Experience supporting or working with fiber infrastructure and/or large-scale network environments
  • Exposure to technologies such as Cisco ACI or similar is a plus
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA) preferred
