Job Description

The Demand Analyst is a member of the North America Demand Planning team that is responsible for developing a demand plan, participating in S&OP, and executing a multi year demand plan to support the business objectives of Revenue, Cost, Cash, and Customer Experience. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Demand Planning - Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool, reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.

  • Forecast Accuracy - Create and implement processes to achieve best in class performance

  • Demand Stability - Identify practices that cause gyration to the supply base and systematically resolve

  • Inventory - Collaborate with Supply Planning to achieve inventory targets

  • Excess & Obsolescence - Collaborate with Supply Planning to mitigate opportunities

  • Sales & Operations Planning - Drive alignment with Sales, Finance, Supply, Product and Engineering teams on demand plan over 2-year planning horizon

  • Cost - Drive efficiency in all areas of work and allocate resources to best achieve expected outcomes

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Oracle Demand Planning or other ERP software preferred

  • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.

  • Requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.

Target Base Salary Range: $65,700 - $85,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
