Delivery Manager Overview
UST is searching for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Delivery Manager. The Delivery Manager will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, provide leadership to our warehouse team and contractors, and strive to maintain exceptional quality standards. This employee will oversee back-of-store operations with our client and warehouse operations for a newly starting warehouse.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and maintaining a positive working environment. If you have previous warehouse leadership experience and work well in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Compensation: $70,000-$90,00
Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to)
  • Completes and manages weekly reporting and deadlines
  • Ensures the loading of all trucks is accurate, efficient, and exceeds quality standards
  • Keeps customer service and shipping quality as a top priority
  • Manages a support staff depending on the location
  • Manages deliveries for the warehouse and back of stores
  • Monitors KPI's to ensure a healthy and efficient operation
  • Oversees dispatch, claims management, DOT compliance, and invoices/settlements
  • Oversees the warehouse that manages all trucks in the market
  • Recruits and retains drivers and warehouse staff

Requirements
  • Ability to be available on an on-call basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to work some weekend days and holidays
  • Clean MVR, criminal record, and drug screen
  • Higher education and/or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management software
  • Valid Driver's License
