Position Overview
Price Benowitz LLP is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to expand our presence in Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle market. This is a unique opportunity for a business-generating attorney with an existing book of business to plug into a firm that offers strong infrastructure, marketing, and operational support.
This role is ideal for an attorney looking to grow an established practice, increase earnings, and leverage firm resources while maintaining autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution
  • Handle cases including divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, and domestic violence/protective orders
  • Transition and expand an existing book of business within the firm platform
  • Continue to develop referral networks and client relationships in the Raleigh and Triangle market
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations throughout Wake County and surrounding jurisdictions
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to support continued expansion in North Carolina
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing
  • 5+ years of family law experience required
  • Proven ability to generate and maintain a book of business (required)
  • Strong litigation and courtroom experience
  • Ability to manage cases independently with minimal oversight
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a practice
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
