Job description

Position Title: Insurance Defense Attorney
This role is essential for providing legal representation in insurance defense, specifically focusing on premises liability and bodily injury cases. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload, engaging in trial preparation and litigation processes. Challenges may arise from multitasking various cases while ensuring quality outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with a team of legal professionals. Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 / Year DOE
Insurance Defense Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of 20-30 files, balancing complexity of cases
  • Engage in trial preparation and represent clients in court
  • Conduct depositions and mediations
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
  • Assist in the representation of policyholders and self-insured companies

Insurance Defense Attorney Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense, particularly in premises liability and related cases
  • Minimum of 3 years of employment law experience also accepted
  • Willingness to try cases and take them to trial
  • Active bar membership in California
  • Trial experience is preferred
