Dealerships act as the primary point of contact between customers and vehicle manufacturers, helping buyers choose, purchase, and maintain their vehicles. They may specialize in specific brands or offer a range of different makes and models.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In the dealership industry, high-level sales managers or experienced sales consultants can earn $10,000 or more per month through commissions and bonuses, especially in luxury or high-volume dealerships. Success in these roles typically requires strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and building client relationships, rather than formal degrees.

How much does a car salesman make on a $10,000 car?

A car salesperson typically earns a commission based on the profit or a percentage of the sale price, often around 20-30%. For a $10,000 car, this could mean a commission of approximately $2,000 to $3,000, depending on dealership policies and the salesperson's commission structure.

What are the different positions at a car dealership?

A car dealership employs various positions including salespeople, service technicians, parts specialists, finance managers, and administrative staff. Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-oriented mindset help build trust and close deals. These skills are crucial for meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering repeat business in a competitive retail environment.
