Job description

Sales Account Manager (Virtual)

You are known for your strong relationship-building skills and understanding complexities associated with balancing the needs of dealers and the manufacturer.

As the Sales Account Manager, you will use your relationship-building skills to develop and maintain relationships between Canon Canada and the dealer network. You will act as the product expert, coach, liaison, and mentor to dealer Sales Representatives, helping them to position Canon products as their number one choice and drive sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the relationships between dealers and Canon
  • Achieving a sales quota
  • Presenting, coaching and mentoring on the portfolio of Canon products to dealers and dealer representatives
  • Forecasting revenue by dealers within a defined territory
  • Developing and mining business opportunities for net new dealers to expand Canon's dealer network

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Fluently bilingual (English/French)
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Industry Knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to balance the competing needs of a defined dealer network while meeting your own sales targets
  • Excellent analytical skills to track sales results, forecasting, the profitability of units and service revenue
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good technical skills
