The Remarketing Solutions Specialist - Dealer Services is responsible for professionally representing the sale of lease, retail, repossessed vehicles, and any other units assigned, at auctions nationwide and strives to achieve the highest recovery on the liquidation of assets in order to minimize losses, while ensuring company policies and procedures, as well as Provincial and federal laws, are followed.  Additionally, this team member will review, monitor, and assist in directing departmental activity.

In this role you will:  

  • Monitor the flow of vehicles to auction and represent vehicles during sale at auction 
  • Verify vehicle announcements and reports are accurate for pre-sale 
  • Ensure adequate process control over Remarketing Solutions to maximize sales proceeds to accepted GMF guidance/thresholds 
  • Monitor, identify, and provide feedback on market trends
  • Inspect inventory, making recommendations on reconditioning, setting vehicle floor prices, reviewing condition reports, and auditing auction expenses. 
  • Work with auction coordinators to approve work orders for the Mechanical Services Shop, Body Shop and Detail Shop.
  • Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays
  • Other duties as assigned
