Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Dayforce Technical Consultant with at least 8 years of experience. As a key member of our HR technology consulting division, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Dayforce HCM solutions for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in Dayforce to drive successful implementations, streamline HR processes, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance the overall user experience.
As a Senior Advanced Dayforce Technical Consultant, you will lead end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design to system configuration and post-implementation support. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure that all solutions are tailored to meet specific business needs, align with industry best practices, and comply with regulatory requirements. Your role will also involve providing thought leadership, mentoring junior consultants, and continuously seeking opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dayforce Technical Expertise and Solution Management
  • Deep Knowledge of Dayforce HCM: Utilize your in-depth understanding of Dayforce modules, including Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Workforce Management, and Talent Management, to provide advanced consulting services. Configure, customize, and optimize Dayforce solutions to align with client requirements and enhance system functionality.
  • System Configuration and Troubleshooting: Manage and perform complex configurations within the Dayforce platform, addressing client-specific needs and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, leveraging your technical expertise to provide timely solutions and minimize downtime.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that Dayforce solutions adhere to organizational security policies and regulatory requirements. Manage user roles and permissions, conduct regular audits, and implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
2. Solution Design and Implementation
  • Client Needs Assessment and Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough assessments to understand client business processes, identify gaps, and gather detailed requirements. Translate client needs into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Solution Design and Customization: Design and implement tailored Dayforce solutions that meet client-specific requirements, optimize performance, and enhance user experience. Develop technical specifications, configure system modules, and ensure successful project delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Implementation Project Management: Lead all phases of Dayforce implementation projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure. Oversee project workstreams, manage deliverables, timelines, and budgets, and ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the implementation process.
3. System Optimization and Continuous Improvement
  • Ongoing System Optimization: Continuously monitor and assess Dayforce system performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Implement best practices in infrastructure, workflows, and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall system functionality.
  • Innovation and Enhancement: Drive innovation by leveraging Dayforce's capabilities to develop new functionalities and enhancements that support business objectives. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in HRIS, recommending and implementing solutions that align with organizational goals and priorities.
4. Integration and Interface Management
  • Integration Expertise: Lead integration efforts between Dayforce and other enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, payroll, and timekeeping systems. Assess technical requirements, perform hands-on configuration, and conduct detailed field analysis to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Interface Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain interfaces between Dayforce and other enterprise systems. Ensure data integrity and synchronization across platforms, providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Vendor and Third-Party Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure successful integration and implementation of Dayforce solutions. Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party support activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
5. Workforce Management and Compliance
  • Advanced Workforce Management Configuration: Configure and maintain Dayforce workforce management modules, including time and attendance, scheduling, leave management, and compliance tracking. Ensure alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, implementing automation and workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, making adjustments as needed to maintain compliance and optimize efficiency. Develop and maintain compliance reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
6. Analytics, Reporting, and Data Management
  • Data Integrity and Governance: Establish and maintain a comprehensive reports library within Dayforce, promoting data integrity and conducting frequent audits to ensure accuracy. Develop data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
  • Advanced Reporting and Analytics: Develop and deliver advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics using Dayforce's reporting tools. Provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate information to support decision-making and strategic planning. Utilize advanced data analysis skills to identify trends, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
7. Compensation, Learning, and Performance Management
  • Compensation Planning and Management: Configure and manage all aspects of compensation within Dayforce, including base pay, bonuses, merit increases, and other compensation elements. Provide guidance and support for the design and implementation of compensation strategies that align with business objectives and promote fairness and equity.
  • Learning and Development: Configure and maintain Dayforce Learning modules, ensuring alignment with organizational learning and development goals. Support the implementation of learning initiatives, including course creation, content management, and user engagement.
  • Performance Management: Configure and manage performance management processes within Dayforce, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and promote a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
8. Financial Systems Integration and General Ledger Management
  • Financial Systems Integration: Work closely with finance teams to configure and maintain financial integrations within Dayforce, ensuring accurate account mapping and data synchronization with ERP and financial systems. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage general ledger configurations within Dayforce, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Dayforce or relevant HRIS modules are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Dayforce Technical Consultant or similar role, with a strong focus on HRIS, system configuration, integration, and project management. Proven experience in designing and implementing Dayforce solutions, with a deep understanding of its architecture, functionality, and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Dayforce modules such as Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Workforce Management, and Talent Management. Strong technical skills in system configuration, integration, and reporting, with a deep understanding of Dayforce's security features, business processes, and reporting tools.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex Dayforce implementation projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration.
