Job Summary:
Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex databases for their organization. The role involves collaborating with the development team to optimize database performance and scalability, as well as managing data models and ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement complex databases for our organization
• Work closely with our development team to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain data models for our databases
• Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure that our databases are up-to-date and accurate
• Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure that our databases are secure and compliant with industry standards
• Provide technical support to our development team as needed
Qualifications:
Required:

• 5+ years of experience in database design and administration
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and postgreSQL and database management systems (DBMS)
