Join a growing, closed-door long-term care pharmacy where your accuracy, attention to detail, and pharmacy knowledge directly support long-term resident care. This is a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes role within our Intake Department, focused on entering and processing prescription orders in a non-retail pharmacy environment.


Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 3:00 PMโ€“11:30 PM, with rotating weekends

Compensation: $19โ€“$24/hr, depending on experience

About the Role


MMPโ€™s workflow starts in the data entry department, and the quality of information being entered is of utmost importance! The Data Entry Technician is responsible for entering prescriptions into MMPโ€™s FrameworkLTC and FrameworkECM pharmacy systems, with attention to both accuracy and speed. The Data Entry Technician will also provide exemplary community and resident support via telephone and email.


Responsibilities

  • Interpreting and entering prescription orders
  • Profile-only data entry
  • Answering phones and providing excellent customer service
  • Checking emails and messages to the pharmacy and responding promptly and professionally
  • Investigating and solving community and/or resident issues
  • Adjudicating insurance claims
  • Leads by example, exhibiting the CORE Values each day, and adheres to the MMP Behavior Standard
  • Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy
  • Attends required company meetings
  • Completes all required courses in adherence with the PRS compliance system
  • Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis
  • All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Healthcare Data Entry or Medical Record Management, preferably in a long term or managed care setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified & Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Illinois
  • FrameworkLTC / FrameworkECM knowledge a plus
  • Timely and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, establishing rapport and working with others
  • Professional demeanor and appearance with excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Able to multi-task and work under deadlines
  • Motivated, punctual and reliable team member
