Data Entry Clerk / Administrative Support

Carolina Waste looking for a reliable, detailoriented Data Entry and Administrative Support Clerk to support daily site operations at our N. Charleston, SC location. In this role, you'll operate the scale house, assist customers, complete billing tasks, and provide general administrative support. This position requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Process payments and generate basic billing documentation

  • Complete daily, biweekly, and monthly billing

  • Batch work orders and support reporting requirements

  • Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks

  • Respond to and monitor Google Reviews

  • Provide backup coverage for the scale clerk

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, staff, and the public

Requirements:

Excellent organizational skills

Good numeric reasoning and numerical ability required

Previous experience in data entry

Customer Service experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Excellent computer proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook

Physical ability: Able to complete sedentary work requiring prolonged sitting, able to

complete repetitive motions such as typing/mouse use/operating a phone, ability to

look at a screen for long periods of time, tolerate exposure to typical call center

sounds and wearing a headset

Comfortable working around noise, dust, fumes, and outdoor elements
