About the Role:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counting and auditing of stock in the warehouse and/or manufacturing areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Count material, equipment, supplies in stock and post inventory totals in Epicor
  • Compare inventory count to inventory record in Epicor
  • Verifies Epicor totals match physical count of parts/stock
  • Investigates reason for discrepancy
  • Prepare reports such as inventory balances or shortages
  • Prepares a list of depleted or "low stock" items
  • Must be able to communicate through written (email) or verbally to pass information along to supervisors/managers
  • Basic math skills are necessary (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • Previous cycle counting experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software is a plus (Epicor preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to operate a forklift (and various other types of lifts used in a warehouse environment)
  • Working knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing software
