Job Title: Cycle Counter
Manager Title Inventory Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory locations throughout Fecon and performing cycle counting duties that all material is properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory within the ERP System. The Cycle Counter, in conjunction with members of the Materials Management team, will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material, and providing recommended adjustments to the Materials Management Team. The Cycle Counter will also assist in the determination and countermeasures for inventory inaccuracy issues.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Works within amp; according to all company health amp; guidelines.
  • Performs cycle counting of materials based upon established schedule and request from the Materials Management Team.
  • Researches inventory discrepancies and submits accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Assists in the determination of root causes of inventory discrepancies and corresponding action plans to eliminate inventory inaccuracy.
  • Answers inventory related questions from team members in Warehouse, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service groups.
  • Assists other team members in the locating of necessary items.
  • Acts as a back up to Cycle Count team members in cases of absenteeism, if needed.
  • Completes any other tasks or project assigned by a member of the Materials Management Team.
  • Follows all Fecon Safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Possesses strong attention to detail abilities.
  • Basic computer skills needed to work within company ERP system.
  • Possesses basic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate either verbally or electronically.
  • Be self-driven and safety minded.
Education and Experience:
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a like role
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle short term weather conditions for counts of material in outside warehousing locations.
