Materials Cycle Counter

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the Inventory Program for both Plant 1 and Plant 2.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. ย  ย Performs physical inventories and updates SAP
2. ย  ย Document movement within SAP as appropriate in a timely manner
3. ย  ย Perform full inventory including cycle counts and ABC analysis for the part
4. ย  ย Monitor Production Declaration and captor
5. ย  ย Assist production with label issues
6. ย  ย Analyze movement of parts and location per user
7. ย  ย Incoming goods validationย 
8. ย  ย Assist with receiving errors
9. ย  ย Assist with adjustments with manager approval
10. ย  ย Assist with annual physical inventory
11. ย  ย Maintain a level of excellence with production closures
12. ย  ย Assist in GSS
13. ย  ย If necessary, the inventory specialist will be utilized as a backup for materials department associates.ย 
14. ย  ย Responsible for any specialist projects setup by the manager or supervisor.
15. ย  ย Must be a team player helping to accentuate a positive & productive environment within the department and with all other departments.
16. ย  ย Perform other duties as assigned or needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ย  ย 2+ years in manufacturing environments
ย  ย 2+ years supporting SAP (MM, SD)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

ย  ย Understanding of logistics and manufacturingย 
ย  ย SAP manufacturing experience
ย  ย Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken)
ย  ย Ability to work independently with little supervision
ย  ย Strong problem solving skills
ย  ย Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, and captor
ย  ย Experience in automotive either tier 1 or tier 2
ย  ย Certified forklift

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

1. ย  ย Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
