Job description

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter. They will be responsible for verifying and keeping records on daily inventory cycle counts, monitoring inventory levels for stock and stock rotation by performing the following duties. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Performs cycle counts as scheduled effectively and accurately in a timely manner.

Monitors inventory levels and stock rotations on all items to ensure materials are equally distributed

Creates and maintains treating lists for production/warehouse needs and demands.

Examine material for proper identification and labeling.

Maintains inventory of shipping materials and plant supplies for monthly reconciliation.

Maintains stock levels to not impede traffic flow or create hazards.

Assists in stacking lumber or moving products by hand as needed.
