Materials Cycle Counter

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the Inventory Program for both Plant 1 and Plant 2.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Performs physical inventories and updates SAP
2.    Document movement within SAP as appropriate in a timely manner
3.    Perform full inventory including cycle counts and ABC analysis for the part
4.    Monitor Production Declaration and captor
5.    Assist production with label issues
6.    Analyze movement of parts and location per user
7.    Incoming goods validation 
8.    Assist with receiving errors
9.    Assist with adjustments with manager approval
10.    Assist with annual physical inventory
11.    Maintain a level of excellence with production closures
12.    Assist in GSS
13.    If necessary, the inventory specialist will be utilized as a backup for materials department associates. 
14.    Responsible for any specialist projects setup by the manager or supervisor.
15.    Must be a team player helping to accentuate a positive & productive environment within the department and with all other departments.
16.    Perform other duties as assigned or needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
   2+ years in manufacturing environments
   2+ years supporting SAP (MM, SD)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

   Understanding of logistics and manufacturing 
   SAP manufacturing experience
   Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken)
   Ability to work independently with little supervision
   Strong problem solving skills
   Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, and captor
   Experience in automotive either tier 1 or tier 2
   Certified forklift

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

1.    Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
2.    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk and hear
3.    Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
