Purchase Requisition Customer Service Rep.

Position Description:

The Purchase Requisition Customer Service Representative is responsible for reviewing and processing purchase requisition requests on behalf of the client's sales team. This role ensures all required documentation, approvals, and supporting details are complete and compliant prior to submission. The specialist will manage the end-to-end purchase requisition process, including creation, submission, tracking, and follow-up through final approval.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage assigned purchase requisition requests through ServiceNow, ensuring tickets are accurately tracked, documented, and resolved in accordance with established SLAs.

• Review and validate all supporting documentation for purchase requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across all documents.

• Confirm compliance with policy requirements based on order type and applicable client or organizational guidelines.

• Create, submit, and maintain purchase requisitions in SAP Ariba, ensuring correct accounting information, cost center alignment, and expense classification.

• Monitor requisitions throughout the approval lifecycle, working with approvers and stakeholders to obtain required information and resolve issues that may delay approval.

• Maintain timely and accurate status updates within ServiceNow from initial submission through final approval and completion.

• Ensure data integrity and alignment across ServiceNow, SAP Ariba, and other related systems by following standardized processes and control requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve discrepancies, and support complex requisitions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Understanding of business documentation, data validation, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to follow defined processes, maintain accurate records, and adhere to policies and compliance requirements.

• Willingness to learn processes and develop skills in enterprise systems and cross-functional collaboration.

• Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP Ariba, ServiceNow, or similar tools is a plus, but not required.

• Prior experience with purchase orders preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $31,700.00 - $52,300.00.
