The level of stress varies depending on the company's size, industry, and workload, but strong organizational and communication skills help manage pressure effectively.

What are the 4 types of purchasing?

In customer service purchasing roles, the four main types of purchasing are routine or repetitive purchasing, which involves regular orders for standard items; new task purchasing, where a customer buys a product or service for the first time; modified rebuy, where a customer changes specifications or suppliers for an existing purchase; and straight rebuy, which involves reordering the same products from the same supplier without modifications. Understanding these types helps customer service representatives assist clients effectively throughout the purchasing process.
