Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to coordinate with internal teams and customers to address and resolve product quality issues. The CQE will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing quality planning, control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with customer specifications and industry standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, and IATF16949.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers.
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of quality issues and requests.
  • Participate in product quality planning and control processes based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate customer feedback and expectations to the quality management team.
  • Prepare and update all necessary quality reports as required by customers.
  • Collaborate with the quality management team to identify and develop problem-solving methodologies for quality issues.
  • Maintain product quality documentation in compliance with industry standards and requirements (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits alongside the quality management team.
  • Work with Quality Managers and other stakeholders on continuous improvement efforts related to quality issues (A3 problem-solving).
  • Address customer quality issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience with customer quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001/IATF16949 standards and automotive quality management system.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Background in semiconductor manufacturing or RF device.
  • Experience working with contracts related to government procurements.
  • Knowledge of Data analystics and statistical processes.
  • Knowledge of 8D problem solving methodology.
