Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support digital banking initiatives and enterprise technology modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in systems analysis, API integration, data management, and distributed systems while collaborating with business and technology teams to design scalable, cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive system integration initiatives, and support enterprise architecture and modernization programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive systems analysis to support large-scale technology modernization and migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, define, and document business and system requirements.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to develop scalable system solutions aligned with enterprise standards and future-state architecture.
• Analyze system feasibility, dependencies, integration points, risks, and technical impacts across distributed platforms.
• Evaluate APIs, data sources, and integration patterns to recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, technical specifications, process flows, and operational documentation.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions on system capabilities, data management practices, integration strategies, and cloud technologies.
• Participate in the review and validation of Quality Assurance test plans to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
• Recommend enhancements to existing systems and contribute to the design of new enterprise solutions.
• Develop and improve analysis methodologies, documentation standards, and system design practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery and enterprise modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Systems Analysis.
• Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and customer-facing applications.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise technology modernization and system migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data management, data analysis, SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases.
• Experience analyzing enterprise integrations across multiple systems, applications, and data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration concepts, APIs, and distributed application architectures.
• Experience documenting business requirements, technical specifications, system workflows, and architecture diagrams.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and user story development skills.
• Understanding of n-tier application architecture, APIs, SDKs, and enterprise application ecosystems.
• Familiarity with integration testing methodologies and observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, architecture, engineering, and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certification in Project Management or a related discipline.
• Experience leading enterprise modernization or greenfield implementation projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within enterprise technology environments.
• Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns, including publish/subscribe (Pub/Sub), event-driven architecture, streaming technologies, and API-based integrations.
